Travertino Navona
Natural stone with low porosity and versatile aesthetics
Travertino Navona is a very elegant and valuable type of Travertine which is extracted in the Tivoli area, in the Lazio region. Widely used since ancient times, it is present in numerous monumental works. An example of this is the ancient “Fontana del Moro” of Piazza Navona, in Rome. This natural stone is characterized by a delicate ivory and cream coloured background, with white shades. It has a very compact texture and almost no holes, this feature makes it more resistant to external agents and wear. Depending on the cutting direction, it has a cloudy or linear structure. It is a material suitable for all ornamental and furnishing applications, both indoors and outdoors
